Description
A new aerial mode of transport – the cable car-has appeared in the capital. It connected the observation platform on the Sparrow hills above the Moscow river with the Luzhniki stadium.
There are three stations on the 720-meter route: Vorobyovy Gory (upper), Novaya Liga, and Luzhniki (lower).
The Moscow cable car is unique in that it performs transport and tourist functions in addition to its sports purpose.
There are two routes on the cable car: tourist ("Vorobyovy Gory – Luzhniki") and sports ("Vorobyovy Gory – New League").

There are 35 closed booths on the tourist site. Each is designed for eight people. The booths are equipped with media screens, audio guides in 4 languages (English, Chinese, German, Russian), led light, hooks for bicycles, skis and snowboards. There are also two VIP cabins for important guests or newlyweds. Inside are four leather chairs, Cup holders, and cupboards.
The sports route will run 10 open chair cabins designed for athletes and students of the Vorobyovy Gory sports school. The route will start working in February 2019-for the freestyle world Cup.

Luzhniki Station»

It is located on the Vorobyevskaya embankment. Access is currently restricted due to the closed ski slope. This station will mainly be used by skiers to climb up.
Vorobyovy Gory station»
It is located on Kosygin street, next to the famous observation deck. In winter, the station will start a ski slope for professional and Amateur skiing.
